Luca Prete is référendaire in the chambers of Advocate General Emiliou at the European Court of Justice, after serving also in the chambers of Advocates General Bobek and Wahl, and Judge Tizzano. Previously, he worked in the European Commission, in the Legal Service and in DG Competition. Prior to this, he was an associate in the Brussels office of Skadden Arps. Mr Prete regularly publishes and lectures on various aspects of EU law, with an emphasis on institutional matters, legal remedies, competition law, internal market and external relations. Mr Prete is an Italian qualified lawyer. He holds a Law degree from the University of Bologna, a LLM from the College of Europe in Bruges, and a PhD by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
