Christina Eckes is professor of European law at the University of Amsterdam and Director of the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance (ACELG). She is also a former and founding member of the Amsterdam Centre of European Studies (ACES).

Her current research interests are the separation of powers in 21st century Europe and strategic climate litigation in Europe. 

Maria Weimer is associate professor of EU law and regulation at the University of Amsterdam and the Acting Director of the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance (ACELG). She is also a member of the Governing Board of Amsterdam Centre of European Studies (ACES).

Her current research interests are EU risk regulation and EU sustainability regulation with a focus on sustainable agriculture and supply chain regulation
