Manu is a PhD Candidate with the Amsterdam Centre for Transformative Private Law (ACT) and the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance (ACELG). His research interests lie in new forms of corporate power and the effects on markets and society. For his PhD project, he aims to combine approaches from EU Company Law and EU Competition Law to better capture emerging forms of corporate power, and to develop a framework to regulate and counter the effects of this power.

Before starting his PhD at UvA, he did a project at the Dutch Commission for the Media (CvdM) on platform power in the media landscape.
