More specifically, her thesis explores ‘The Deepness of Fundamental Rights in the New Generation EU Free Trade Agreements’ focusing upon both Asia (Singapore, Japan) and North America (US, Canada) as comparative case-studies of the EU post-Lisbon trade agreements with developed countries and with respect to fundamental rights in labour and data.

As an ACELG visiting fellow, Isabella will finalise her project and present the main findings in a public presentation. She is looking forward to academic exchange with and feedback from the ACELG community.

During her doctorate, Isabella has been a visiting researcher at the Egmont Institute in Brussels (September 2019) and a visiting fellow at the Asser Institute in The Hague (October-December 2019).

Isabella holds a B.A. in European Studies and an LL.M. in International Trade and Investment Law from the University of Maastricht, and completed courses on international economics and international relations at the University of Geneva as an Erasmus student.
