Despite extraordinary circumstances, the UvA team was ranked eighth out of 30 teams in the first round of the Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot Court Competition.
Four students of the UvA team

The UvA Team was represented by Mia Monas, Babette Dol, George Bandy en Marijke van der Vossen. They are all students of the Master track EU Competition Law and Regulation.

On the basis of their written pleadings the UvA team ranked as eighth out of 30 participating teams from all around the world. Due to the coronavirus the competition wasn't held at King's College London. On 18 and 19 June is the final round (online) of the Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot Court.

The team was  supervised and supported by Paul Post (Senior Associate, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek) this year.
