The compatibility of the Energy Charter Treaty with EU law

Professor Christina Eckes and Dr Laurens Ankersmit have written a new report for ClientEarth regarding the compatibility of the Energy Charter Treaty with EU Law. As it currently stands the ECT is not compatible with EU law and they suggest an EU withdrawal from the treaty as the best viable solution.
