“Picture of EU,” a new documentary on the origins, history, diversity, meaning and future of the European Union was released last week. The film consists of archive footage and interviews with a wide range of EU citizens and their experiences with and views on the EU.

The film makers describe the film on their website:

"Hearing from artists, scientists, historians, academics, politicians, activists, journalists, NGOs, actors, think-tanks, civil-servants, students and people from all walks of life, Picture of EU examines the union and the people who live there, shedding light onto where EU finds itself today and exploring where it might find itself tomorrow."
