The newly founded journal 'Europe and the World: A Law Review' aims to contribute to legal scholarship on the place of Europe in the world, with a particular but by no means exclusive focus on the EU's external relations law. The journal accepts submissions.

Europe and the World is published by UCL Press as an open-access, peer-reviewed journal. Its founders and co-editors are, next to Christina Eckes, Piet Eeckhout, Professor of European Law and Vice-Dean (Staffing) at University College London, and Anne Thies, Associate Professor in Law at the University of Reading.

Europe and the World is the only specialised journal devoted to the legal dimension and aspects of Europe's role in the world. It addresses legal issues emerging from the increased external relations powers of the EU and the interaction of national, EU and international law.
