Dr Elaine Fahey spends fall semester 2012/2013 at Center for International and Comparative Law to pursue her research on transatlantic relations and the role of law.
With Elaine Fahey, a second ACELG researcher will be pursuing her research in the United States this fall. Elaine has been accepted into the Visiting Researcher Programme of the University of Michigan Law School. She will spend the fall semester 2012/2013 at the Center for International and Comparative Law. Sponsored by Prof. Daniel Halberstam, she will study US involvement, interaction and cooperation with the EU legal order, in particular how distinct this is from US interactions with International Law generally and its contribution to EU foreign policy development and norm diffusion. She is interested in the contemporary interaction and engagement of US Constitutional with International law.
